Maybe I'm just getting old, but I've been on protonix for six weeks and I suddenly started waking up at 3am and having to urinate for first time in my life. I haven't seen a list of side effects for this med, but I'm curious. Also, if it is a side effect, would it mean it's doing damage to my kidney or bladder and i should stop or is it something not to worry about beyond the annoyance?
